Undergraduate
At undergraduate level, we offer:
- A four year Bachelor of Music (BMus Hons)
- A four year GRNCM/MusB course which is run in association with the University of Manchester
- A two year Foundation Degree in Popular Practice (Session Musician), delivered in association with Access to Music (available for September 2012 entry)
- A three year Bachelor of Arts Popular Music Performance (BA Hons), delivered in association with Access to Music (available from September 2013 entry)
Graduate School
The RNCM offers a superb environment for advanced musical studies in performance (including conducting) and composition. The Graduate School provides a rich variety of courses of study which train instrumentalists, singers, conductors, composers and musicologists up to a fully professional level.
RNCM Postgraduate International Artist Diploma
The RNCM Postgraduate International Artist Diploma represents the pinnacle of achievement in performance at the College, and is designed for a small number of top level performers identified as having the potential to progress to an international career in their chosen field. Training is delivered through intensive instrumental or vocal tuition with coaching from renowned international teachers, a range of high-profile public performance opportunities and a variety of specialist classes.

Hallé/RNCM Strings Leadership Course
This one-year course enables students to develop their individual performing and orchestral skills through one-to-one tuition and high-profile external performance opportunities with the Halle. It includes a guarantee of £10,000 paid work and provides an effective transition from advances studies towards entry to the music profession.
