Manchester Camerata - Urban Symphony

Tonight sees the first performance of the opening movement of Urban Symphony, a music and art project created by local school children, inspired by Manchester’s neo-classical buildings.

Manchester Camerata - Pictures from St Petersburg

Camerata’s future music director and founding member of the Takács Quartet, Gábor Takács-Nagy, conducts a programme deeply rooted in the city of St Petersburg. Joined by fellow Hungarian Miklos Perenyi, one of the truly great cellists of his generation, this special concert also features a new composition written in tribute to the city.
