Spotlight - Boccherini String Quartet and Quintet
Rococo optimism at its best, Boccherini’s music is full of charm, surprise and the flair of his adopted country, Spain. He also wrote over 100 string quintets featuring two cellos, an instrumentation that he pioneered.
