Holst's A Moorside Suite was a piece to champion the brass band ensemble, an ensemble that at the time other composers might have avoided but Holst embraced.  Another world première features in this concert this time from saxophonist Andy Scott with hints of blues and bulgarian folk amongst other brass treats.
