Performing space

With one of the largest theatres in Manchester, a stylish concert hall, versatile studio theatre plus a variety of other spaces for hire, the RNCM welcomes promoters, artists and media of all scales and genres. One of the most established venues in Manchester, the RNCM has recently played host to such events and artists as Futuresonic 2009 with Philip Glass, Murcof, Johann Johannsson and Denis Jones, Manchester International Festival’s Young @ Heart Choir, BBC Radio 3’s The Choir, BBC Radio 2’s Young Brass Soloist of the Year, Jarvis Cocker, Damon Gough, Lisa Hannigan, Brett Anderson, Jose Gonzales, Neko Case, ITV’s Britannia High Live Finale, Waterloo Road, Bass Day UK, The Manchester Jazz Festival, Manchester Camerata and The Manchester Chamber Concerts Society.

Conference and meeting space

The RNCM can cover every aspect of your event, whether it’s a small scale meeting or audition, a full day conference or a multi day convention. The RNCM boasts purpose built conference facilities offering state of the art audio visual and sound facilities, including video conferencing. The Café Bar and Eatery restaurant can provide a variety of catering in close proximity to your conference space. Overnight accommodation is offered at the Sir Charles Groves Halls of Residence owned by Liberty Living (subject to availability) which is situated next door to the RNCM. Recent events include Music Learning Live, the Classical Music Homepage Launch, Keynote Educational and Maths Inspiration events, Kelloggs’ team building day, the latest GMMAZ Conference, and the British Flute Society Convention.
