Library

The RNCM Library is housed in purpose-built premises which opened in September 1997. It is situated on the ground floor of the College building, to the left of the main entrance on Booth Street West.

Our team of professional chefs use locally sourced seasonal produce to produce a mouth-watering range of menus designed to suit all tastes and pockets. Our menus change daily and our 5 star Head Chef, Joanne Timperley, is dedicated to bringing you the best of modern British cuisine whilst incorporating many traditional and foreign favourites to make up a truly delicious experience. All our food is cooked from fresh ingredients and we cater for all types of diets.

Whether you fancy lounging on the sofas watching the world go by or sitting top-deck alongside the musicians of tomorrow the RNCM café is the place to be. Try a freshly-ground coffee, one of our homemade cakes or taste the delights of a wide range of tasty and filling sandwiches ready for you to grab and go! Or maybe a tailor-made grilled panini with a bowl of homemade soup. We serve Fairtrade products wherever possible.

the Bar

The bar is open every evening and also some lunch times when events are programmed. We serve an extensive range of whiskies and spirits and an award-winning selection of cask ales. The bar is a perfect place to start or finish your evening. Interval drinks can be pre-ordered from the wine bar situated on the Lower Concourse (through the café and the bar, to the right and up the first flight of stairs)
