With an impressive score of 97.8%, the RNCM has landed in The Independent’s top 10 list of UK universities with the highest graduate employment rate.

Professor Linda Merrick, RNCM Principal, said: ‘Graduate employability is something that we take very seriously at the RNCM, and we are thrilled to know that we continue to achieve outstanding results.

‘Through initiatives such as The Platform, our international centre for orchestra, ensemble and vocal training, we offer young musicians from all over the world unparalleled placement and work experience opportunities with top orchestras, ensembles, opera companies and opera studios across Europe.

‘This is very attractive to students, and is something that will equip them for the music profession and greatly enhance their future employability. It’s about establishing external connections, encouraging students to develop their own projects, embedding entrepreneurial skills throughout the curriculum, and preparing our graduates for a changing musical world.’
