A broad portfolio of sponsors, from local companies to multi-national organisations, choose to support the work of the RNCM in a variety of ways. Our supporters may be varied but their reasons for supporting the RNCM share common themes:

  • Access to first-class musical performances by emerging world-class talent
  • A generous ticket allowance
  • Superb hospitality facilities with excellent catering
  • High-profile publicity and full accreditation
  • Invitations to further events throughout the year

The support of our sponsors is not only vital to the work of the RNCM but also forges valuable links with the wider community.

Performance Sponsorship

The RNCM is renowned for its exciting and varied performance programme, featuring leading artists from classical, jazz and world musics. In recent months, we have hosted performances from Imogen Cooper, Jose Gonzalez, Clare Teal, Emma Kirkby and Abdullah Ibrahim, alongside concerts from the RNCM’s most exceptional young performers. Performance sponsorship provides companies with tickets, exclusive access to performing artists, superb hospitality and high profile publicity and branding opportunities, as well as a close relationship with the RNCM and invitations to College events throughout the year.

If you would like to know more about an event, sponsorship opportunities or corporate hospitality at the RNCM, please contact Sophia McNeill, Development Co-ordinator via email or telephone on 0161 9075 394.

Project Sponsorship

Alongside the RNCM’s work training the very best young musicians, we have a range of projects that focus on different facets of music education and performance and that make use of the RNCM’s facilities, faculty of renowned teachers and researchers and our long-established relationship with our local community. Over the course of the year, we deliver:

  • The weekly Junior RNCM for young musicians aged 8 – 18
  • The Junior Strings Project for children aged 4 – 11 years old
  • Music outreach projects in local schools
  • Music workshops and performances in local hospitals

Bespoke sponsorship opportunities are available for every RNCM project, enabling companies to align their brand with some of our most exciting and innovative areas of work and make crucial links with their own CSR agendas.
