Benjamin Britten The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra

As part of the RNCM’s 40th anniversary celebrations, we are working in partnership with the Britten-Pears Foundation to reinvent Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra for the digital age. Beyond this lunchtime’s performance, the RNCM Symphony Orchestra will be recording Britten’s score at the Philharmonic Studio in MediaCityUK, a recording that will sit at the heart of an app designed to introduce young people and families to YPG and the orchestra. The app will be available for free download from Summer 2013.
