The William Byrd Singers are a long established Manchester chamber choir, whose eclectic and approachable repertoire embraces music from Monteverdi to Messian and more.
In this concert the Byrds present the piano duet version of Brahms German Requiem, a re-working by Brahms himself, first performed in London in 1871, two years before the first UK performance of the orchestral version.
