Salary Grade: Grade 5, scale points 20 to 23, £17,101.89 to £18658.06 (actual pro-rata salary)

The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is pleased to invite applications for the post of Deputy Facilities Manager. The successful candidate will join the dedicated and pro-active Operations team who strive to provide the best quality of environment possible to support the activities within Manchester’s world renowned music conservatoire and its performance venues.
The Deputy Facilities Manager has shared responsibility for the efficient, effective and safe management of RNCM facilities and ‘front of house’ operations, managing the resources and staff (front of house, porters, security and stage door) together with the outsourced cleaning and event additional security personnel. Working closely with the Facilities Manager and the Environment and Operations Manager, the post holder will assist in the provision of an excellent level of support to the varied functions within the College, predominantly working allocated shifts during the evenings and weekends.
You will be well organised, an excellent communicator and have a positive, practical and diplomatic approach.
The role holder will possess (or qualifications that are leading to) a degree (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline, or a relevant professional qualification, or substantial relevant experience to the role.
