The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is an internationally renowned conservatoire and home to one of the UK’s busiest public arts centres. It is a destination of choice for outstanding music students, teachers, researchers and performing artists from across the world, with a wide-ranging artistic programme that attracts large and diverse audiences. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant contribution to the RNCM at an exciting phase in its development.

We are looking for an imaginative and flexible practising musician to support and advise students on professional work placements; to guide and mentor students in the development of creative, independent projects; and to co-ordinate elements of professional skills training within the undergraduate and postgraduate curriculum. You will be an energetic and eclectic artist, working successfully in the profession and with a passion for bringing live music to a wide range of audiences, who is able to command the respect of music students of the highest quality and ambition. You will have experience of higher education teaching. An ability to work with online technologies will be essential.
