Junior Fellows in Piano Accompaniment

Salary Grade: £7,000 per Fellowship

Applications are invited for two RNCM Junior Fellows in Accompaniment for the academic year 2019 – 20.  The auditions for the Junior Fellowships will take place at the RNCM on July 1st 2019. Prospective applicants should ideally have completed postgraduate accompaniment studies and already have a broad working knowledge of the vocal and instrumental duo repertoire. The Fellowships are worth £7,000 each and the successful applicants will be directed to work for 350 hours per annum working with students and tutors across all the performance schools. Fellowships are for one year and Junior Fellows are expected to be resident in Manchester for the duration of the award.

Audition requirements:
Either a duo sonata movement or three contrasting songs (they may be part of a song cycle). (NB The RNCM is unable to provide duo partners for the audition.)
A short solo piano piece
