Caroline Dowdle has performed widely in Britain and in Europe, giving recitals with singers and instrumentalists at the South Bank and Wigmore Hall, London, in Paris for Radio France, at Carnegie Hall, and in Moscow. She has appeared in numerous recitals with the esteemed baritone, Sir Thomas Allen, and, earlier this year, she accompanied Sir Simon Keenlyside in two recitals in Spain. She works regularly as a coach with the singers on the Jette Parker Young Artists Programme at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, and is a member of faculty at the Royal College of Music, London. She is also a guest coach at the Lindemann Programme, at the Metropolitan Opera, New York, and is the
Head of Opera at the Verbier Festival Atelier Lyrique, where she has performed often over the past 11 years. Last year she will gave masterclasses at a course for Dramatic Lyric Voices in Berlin, in the summer. She has also worked regularly with young singers, aged between 13 and 18, as the Music Director of the Samling Academy, which is based in Newcastle, England.
