About

Part of our In Focus series, inviting trailblazing composers to the RNCM.

Roxanna Panufnik’s choral and instrumental music is deeply spiritual, richly textured, and full of emotional resonance. In this programme, the RNCM Chamber Choir performs a selection of her works, including the intricate Kyrie after Byrd and the uplifting Love Endureth. All Shall Be Well brings voices and cello together in a poignant reflection on resilience, while Modlitwa, co-composed with her father Andrzej Panufnik, offers a deeply personal moment of devotion. Instrumental gems like Heartfelt for string quartet sit alongside a new work, Atlantis, by Yelin Zhou, making for an evening of new discovery.

Did you know you can also catch this day of performances in London? Our students and team will be taking Roxanna’s music to the iconic Wigmore Hall on Sat 10 May.
