Spontaneity and instinct are the building blocks of our innovative Make-it-up-as-we-go-along (MIUAWGA) Ensemble.  

Led by our Head of Jazz and Improvisation Steve Berry, MIUAWGA is the RNCM’s only ensemble dedicated entirely to making music through improvisation, and we’re delighted to be joined by improvisational specialists Shirley Smart and Alice Zawadzki
for this unique event. 

You’ll never hear anything like it again – literally – so come and experience the musical conversation created by our students through their in-the-moment musical choices. 

Join us in the RNCM Café Bar afterwards for a relaxed post-concert performance from the K’in Ensemble, who will perform their new Mediterranean-Fusion repertoire.
