Tubular Bells for Two
Monday 29 April 7.30pm
RNCM Concert Hall
Two blokes juggle over 20 instruments between them live on stage. What could possibly go wrong?
Ask anyone who grew up through the 70s and they will be able to tell you where they first heard Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells. The album was the first release on Richard Branson’s fledgling label, Virgin Records. It went on to sell 30 million copies and became the soundtrack to the cult classic film, The Exorcist. Now, more than 40 years on, two Australian multi-instrumentalists are presenting this modern masterpiece in this challenging live event, with only four hands and four feet between them.
