Victor Lim (piano): RNCM International Artist Diploma Recital

Tuesday 20 June 2023, 7.30pm

Carole Nash Recital Room

City Music Foundation November 2021

Our International Artist Diploma (IAD) represents the pinnacle of achievement in performance at the RNCM and welcomes a small number of artists each year who are on the cusp of international careers.

Each artist carefully curates their own programme of music to showcase their talent and artistic identity.

South Korean-British pianist Victor Lim is establishing himself as one of the most versatile and creative young musicians. Following his first public appearance in the televised 2012 BBC Young Musician of the Year, Victor has performed throughout the UK and worldwide. Victor is a City Music Foundation Artist, Making Music UK’s Philip and Dorothy Green Young Artist and the winner of the 2021 RNCM Gold Medal. He has recently performed with Manchester Collective, Manchester Camerata and Royal Northern Sinfonia, and will give a performance of Graham Fitkin’s Granite with BBC Philharmonic in September 2023. Victor is delighted to be pursuing the prestigious International Artist Diploma at the RNCM with tutor Kathryn Stott.
