Caroline Bordignon
Caroline’s research involves collaboration between fine art and music with a focus on composition and painting.
Caroline began her studies in music and fine art in Waterloo, Ontario, before moving to Manchester and completing her Masters of Music in Composition at the RNCM.
Her research involves discovering ways fine art can influence the compositional process and vice versa.
It also involves the incorporation of art in musical performance for the concert hall as well as creating musical works for performance in art galleries and less traditional spaces.
She is also interested in synaesthesia and creating works of art/music that illustrate these experiences for a broader audience.
