Bio: Xia-Leon Sloane completed their Masters in Composition and Musicology at the RNCM in 2022. Their musical work responds to the beauty and fragility of the living Earth, as well as issues around identity and spirituality. Their musicology work explores the power of listening to bring us into more intimate, ethical relationships with sound, and the rights of sound and sound sources. Xia-Leon hopes to train as a therapist, expanding their work on listening into interpersonal and healing contexts.
