What’s the most interesting/unique thing you’ve been involved with since being at RNCM?
Each project that I’ve taken part in since being at RNCM has been truly unique. Every initiative involves working within a different ensemble, with a different conductor and on new, fantastic repertoire. It is a one of a kind experience.
What kinds of opportunities are there for students?
My first year here has shown me the vast opportunities for the students – we are so lucky! On the Performance course, we constantly gain crucial practical skills for orchestral playing. We can also regularly try our strengths in solo performance and develop our chamber music-making under professional musicians. Above all that, there is always something exciting on, such as workshops, masterclasses, or amazing outreach projects. Whatever your desired future path is, you can be sure to find something that will suit you.
What’s your favourite thing about being a student at RNCM?
One of the things I love about studying at the RNCM most is its incredible vibe, an atmosphere of constant creativity which keeps you inspired. I think it all comes down to so many people here, who are clearly passionate about what they’re doing and want to help you to achieve your full potential.
What are your future aspirations?
What would I like to do in the future? I feel that by staying open to the new possibilities here I can develop my musical path in more than one direction. I’m excited to see what the future brings!
