Exchanges to the RNCM

Students from any of our partner institutions are welcome to apply for either Erasmus+ or International mobility in 2021/22.

Nominations from the partner institution are required for all applications and students are advised to first contact the coordinator at their home institution, before applying to the RNCM.

How to Apply

Please email the following to by 30 April for consideration for 2021/22 study:

  • Application Form
  • CV
  • Motivation Letter
  • Transcript of Records
  • Learning Agreement
  • Video Audition Recordings (Audio recordings will not be accepted.)
  • Please include 15 – 20 minutes, to include three contrasting pieces of your own choice.
  • Applicants may send links or downloadable files but, please ensure that there is no cut-off date for files which need to be downloaded.

Academic Schedule

Please see our College Term Dates for details of our upcoming academic schedule.

If you’re interested in studying one term only at the RNCM, we’d strongly advise you to apply for Autumn  (September – December) as there is less availability of academic modules in the second/third terms of the year and we may not always be able to offer chamber music or ensemble work, where groupings have already been made.

Language of Instruction

All classes at the RNCM are held in English. B2 on the CEFR is recommended for all courses. Please note that students who require a visa to study in the UK will need to reach this level before visa documentation can be issued. Please see our Immigration and Visa Advice for more information.

Nominations and applications must be received by the 30 April.
