Support the John Wilson Junior Fellowship in Accompaniment
Since its establishment in 2005 after the first Piano Spectacular concert, the John Wilson Junior Fellowship has supported many talented accompanists at the start of their careers.
This important fund helps students progress from postgraduate study to becoming a professional collaborative pianist at the RNCM.
It is fitting that this award is named in honour of John Wilson, a highly distinguished and accomplished musician. The art of accompaniment is a crucial and highly specialist area of expertise which benefits students from all areas of the College.
Junior Fellows work on a huge range of activities, from recitals, masterclasses and competitions, to auditions and examinations, and have gone on to take up highly valued posts at the RNCM and other conservatoires and universities worldwide.
