RNCM50 Birthday Gala

Friday 23 June 2023, 6pm till late

in aid of the RNCM50 Fund

This exclusive Fundraising Gala evening marks the pinnacle of the RNCM’s 50th anniversary celebrations, taking over the whole building with hundreds of musicians, spectacular performances, a three-course dinner, drinks, and dancing!

In aid of the RNCM50 Fund, this black-tie event will be a fitting celebration of the RNCM and of live music performance.

The RNCM is a registered charity and all proceeds from the RNCM50 Birthday Gala will directly support a new ‘Music for Health’ project as part of RNCM50 Fund. This project will equip RNCM musicians to work directly in children’s hospitals and schools for children with special educational needs and disabilities to enhance the health, well-being, and communication for hundreds of children & young people in Manchester.

Format of the evening:
There will be an incredible programme of music, featuring hundreds of musicians from the RNCM String Orchestra, Chamber Choir, Symphony Orchestra and our renowned pop Session Orchestra. With three short acts of live music in our beautiful Concert Hall and Theatre spaces, the line-up will incorporate all musical genres, and will be a feast for the eyes and ears.

This black-tie event will see delicious food and drink being served between each act, with tables of 10 in our newly refurbished concourse area. Quality drinks will be flowing, and we will end with dancing to take us back to 1973, our opening year!

The event is limited exclusively to 16 tables and are selling fast.

An evening that makes a difference:
To reach our target of raising £70,000 on the evening, the price of each table (seats 10) is £5,000, which includes a charitable donation of £4,000 towards the RNCM50 Fund ‘Music for Health’ project. There will be a raffle on the evening for those guests who have been invited along and would like to contribute.

As we celebrate our 50th birthday in style, please support us by hosting a table.

It truly will be an evening not to be missed, that supports therapeutic music provision to benefit children and young people.
