Environmental Literacy
We believe that all staff and students should be environmentally literate. We provide carbon literacy training to relevant staff who then act as champions within different parts of the RNCM.
We use our website, staff intranet and VLE as a hub of information of environmental action taking place at the College and links to external resources.
We provide monthly communications to staff and students regarding relevant initiatives such as Bike To Work Week, Stop Food Waste Day, Earth Day, etc.
We also promote sustainable travel options through the work undertaken by the Corridor Manchester Sustainable Travel Group including a preference for public transport for business travel where feasible.
