Work Experience
The RNCM is committed to supporting local students and building strong links with our community. Through our work experience programme, we aim to inspire the next generation of musicians and professionals by providing insight into the wide range of careers that support a leading conservatoire.
Placements offer experience across departments such as Development, Estates and Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Marketing and Communications, and Performance and Programming, helping students gain an understanding of how the College operates.
Please note that work experience placements focus on the day-to-day professional and administrative functions of the RNCM and do not include performance opportunities.
Applications
Work experience placements take place for one set week during the summer. Dates for 2027 will be announced in the spring. Unfortunately we are unable to offer placements outside of these dates.
