Job Vacancies

Situated in the heart of the university area of Manchester, and close to the city centre, the RNCM is recognised as one of the world’s leading conservatoires and one of the North West’s premier performance venues.

We employ around 400 members of staff: lecturers, researchers and a range of support staff. We are committed to encouraging diversity and our aim is that where possible our organisation will be representative of all sections of society and each person will feel respected and able to give their best. Our Human Resources team aims to provide an efficient and highly professional recruitment and selection service providing appropriate levels of support to prospective employees.

Safeguarding

The RNCM is committed to protecting children and vulnerable adults from harm. We ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities for safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. The College promotes a culture of safeguarding throughout the institution. Staff in relevant positions will be checked through the Disclosure and Barring Scheme before appointment is confirmed (all teaching staff are required to be cleared through DBS before teaching commences). The College expects all staff to understand and adhere to the Child Protection Policy.

Due to the high volume of applications received for our roles here at the College, we are unfortunately unable to contact unsuccessful candidates who have not been short-listed for interview.
