About
An immersive celebration of the greatest songs from the movies and the joy of singing together.
Gareth Malone – the man who got the nation singing – is back on the road this autumn with Sing-A-Long-A-Gareth: At The Movies, a brand-new live show celebrating the unforgettable songs that have helped make movie moments magical. Following the success of last year’s singalong tour, which saw thousands of people across the country fill theatres with song, laughter and joy, Gareth now turns his attention to the big screen. From sweeping cinema classics to feel-good favourites, At The Movies will bring audiences together for a night of iconic music, shared memories, and the irresistible thrill of singing as one.
Gareth Malone is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Music where he studied with Janice Chapman and Jonathan Papp. He was awarded an honorary doctorate from the University of East Anglia and Freedom of the City of London in 2010. In 2012 he was made OBE in the Queen’s birthday honours for services to music.
