RNCM Saxophone Day 2026 | Sun 8 Nov

We’re delighted to welcome you to an exciting day of playing, workshops, trade stands, and concerts from this year’s international artists:

• The lunchtime concert features the UK premiere performance by Trio Abril – saxophonists Juani Palop, Arno Bornkamp, and pianist Frank Van der Laar.
• New to 2026 is the New Sounds concert series. At 5pm John Butcher and Angharad Davies will unleash their formidable improvisatory prowess in the Concert Hall.
• Throughout the day, The Lounge will be open for anyone that might like somewhere quiet for a while – with ambient, relaxing surround sound saxophone music.
• And we’re excited to welcome two of Manchester’s brightest stars and internationally celebrated artists – Emma Rawicz and Gwilym Simcock – who are performing in the RNCM Theatre at 7pm.

A huge thank you to all the traders and companies who will be joining us. Do take the opportunity to visit their stands and talk with them about the latest developments in equipment and to benefit from their specialist knowledge in their respective fields.

Lastly, save the date! The 2027 RNCM Saxophone Day will take place on Sun 7 Nov 2027, and we have some exciting plans in the pipeline.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
