In Focus: George Benjamin

The RNCM and BBC Philharmonic are honoured to welcome George Benjamin to Manchester for this retrospective of his work. Benjamin is truly one of the musical giants of our time, composing music that must be heard live. The visceral quality of the music he creates absorbs the listener in constantly shifting layers of sound, from the startling to the touching and from the virtuosic to the beautifully simple.
