JMIPC – RNCM James Mottram International Piano Competition
The sixth RNCM James Mottram International Piano Competition (JMIPC) will take place at the RNCM, Manchester, UK from Monday 26 November – Saturday 1 December 2018.
JMIPC is one of the world’s leading piano competitions, offering an all-round learning experience for young pianists, combining opportunities to perform on the concert platform with a series of masterclasses given by a distinguished international jury.
Pianists under the age of 30 from around the world compete for a £10,000 prize at this major biennial event. All pianists selected to take part in the competition will have the opportunity to take part in a masterclass given by a member of the jury.
We are delighted to be joined by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, who will accompany the soloists in the concerto final in the RNCM Concert Hall – and the final will be broadcast on Classic FM.
