Programming Administrator

Salary Grade: Grade 5, scale points 20 to 23, currently £24,771 to £27,025 per annum (pending pay review)

Full-time, temporary contract covering maternity leave for approximately 12 months, commencing mid-late September 2019.

One of the leading conservatoires in the UK and internationally, the RNCM promotes a performance programme across three public venues that is unique in its range and quality.

The Programming Administrator supports arrangements for the programming, scheduling and reconciliation of RNCM-promoted events within the College’s performance programme, encompassing performances by students and guest artists, including the RNCM’s international artist series Original Voices.

The role liaises with a number of internal teams, including Technical and Production, Finance, and Conferencing and Catering, to ensure that all practical plans are made to guarantee the smooth running of RNCM events. The role also provides general administrative support for the Programming Team, including the servicing of meetings.

With a thorough knowledge of and interest in classical music, you should have significant experience of working in an arts administration environment. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are essential, as well as meticulous attention to detail.
