The Royal Northern College of Music (RNCM) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Programming Administrator to join the RNCM’s Performance and Programming team, a creative department at the heart of the College which looks after performances by students and visiting guest artist across its three main venues. This is a great opportunity to build on your knowledge of programming for a public audience in a busy, complex and vibrant environment, working within a small, friendly team.

The role also liaises with many external parties, including artists, agents, publishers, promoters, touring companies and broadcasters.

The Programming Administrator will also take a lead role in the programming and development of student-led performance opportunities (Spotlights, Monday Lunchtimes, Lab Week), the production of print and digital event programmes, and the development of spoken presentation within events.

The successful candidate must have experience of working in an arts administration environment, and an interest in a broad range of music genres, with a good knowledge of Western classical music (including repertoire and performing artists).
