Craig’s Top of the Pops this Summer

RNCM alumnus and Tutor in Guitar, Craig Ogden, had reason to celebrate this weekend when his fourth album, Summer Guitar, soared to the top of the Classic FM charts.

Following hot on the heels of his last three recordings for the Classic FM label, Summer Guitar features beautiful arrangements of the Beatles’ Here Comes the Sun and Sting’s Fields of Gold, alongside Myers’ Cavatina, Einaudi’s Due Tramonti, Bizet’s Habanera and Gershwin’s Summertime.

Craig started studying the guitar at the age of seven and percussion from the age of 13. In 2004 he became the youngest instrumentalist to be made a Fellow of the RNCM.
