Congratulations to undergraduate countertenor Kieron-Connor Valentine who has been signed by Harlequin Agency Limited.
Established in 1986 by Doreen O’Neill, with a remit to nurture young talent in Wales, Harlequin Agency now has a global reputation for its personal management of artists by its team of dedicated staff. It has a growing roster of singers (which includes Bryn Terfel), instrumentalists, conductors, accompanists, composers and arrangers, and an increasing number of concert productions and projects, in addition to its broadcast division, Harlequin Media.
Kieron-Connor, whose RNCM Opera roles include L’humana fragilita in Monteverdi’s Il ritorno d’Ulisse in patria, Oberon in Britten’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (pictured), and Didymus in Handel’s Theodora, wrote on social media: ‘After waiting ages to announce this, I am delighted to say that I have been signed by Harlequin artists agency who represent the likes of LEAH-MARIAN JONES and BRYN TERFEL. Looking forward to working with them!’
