Wolfson Foundation continues to support young RNCM musicians

We are delighted that the Wolfson Foundation will continue its support of young musicians at the RNCM, through a new three year grant.

The Wolfson Music Awards will provide scholarships to students at Junior RNCM, and enable undergraduate musicians to purchase instruments. The awards will have a significant impact, providing targeted financial support to our students after a period of unprecedented upheaval.

Professor Linda Merrick, RNCM Principal, said: ‘The Wolfson Music Awards enable our outstanding students to realise their musical potential, overcome financial hardship to access high quality training, and forge sustainable careers. It is a privilege to be able to nurture young musicians at the RNCM as a result of the Awards and, above all, provide vital financial support when the climate for music training has become so challenging.’
