An Afternoon of Music in Yorkshire

RNCM students performed an afternoon recital at Hovingham Hall, North Yorkshire, to spread the word about the RNCM to new audiences.

Emily Douglas (French horn), Sarah Razlin (violin) and Kristen Gregory (tenor), accompanied by staff pianist Jonathan Fisher, performed a programme of music by Alec Wilder, Edvard Grieg and popular operatic arias in the beautiful surroundings of the former Riding School at Hovingham Hall.

Hovingham Hall is the family home of the Duchess of Kent, President Emeritus of the RNCM, making this a very special occasion for us. The Hall is currently the home of Sir William and Lady Worsley who kindly hosted this wonderful afternoon of music. The recital was an opportunity for us at the RNCM to reach new audiences in Yorkshire and to spread the word about the RNCM.
