Ashley Wass is Deputy Head of Keyboard Studies

We’re delighted to announce that Ashley Wass has been appointed to the post of Deputy Head of School of Keyboard Studies, commencing September.

Following competitive successes in the London and Leeds International Piano Competitions, Ashley embarked on a successful international career as a soloist, recitalist and chamber musician. As a former BBC New Generation Artist, he has performed with all of the BBC orchestras and in venues including the Wigmore Hall, Carnegie Hall and the Vienna Konzerthaus.

Ashley taught at the Royal College of Music for over 10 years and is currently a part-time tutor at the RNCM. He has a passion for chamber music and performed at the last RNCM Chamber Music Festival with his ensemble Trio Apaches. He replaces Helen Krizos, who steps down this summer after 14 years in post.
