Chamber Musicians Receive Lincoln Centre Awards
Two members of the Sitkovetsky Trio, former RNCM Junior Fellows in Chamber Music, have been recognised as Lincoln Center 2016 Emerging Artists.
Alexander Sitkovetsky, an RNCM Tutor in Violin, and pianist Wu Qian are two of 12 recipients of this year’s awards, which gives every organisation within the New York campus a chance to celebrate its rising stars.
Independently, both Alexander and Qian have established exciting solo and orchestral careers, and are currently season artists for the Lincoln Center’s Chamber Music Society. They founded the Sitkovetsky Trio – which continues to work with RNCM students as an Ensemble in Association – in 2007.
