Chroma Harp Duo Wins Camac Ensemble Prize
Congratulations to the Chroma Harp Duo (Lucy Nolan and Rebecca McIlroy), winners of the Ensemble Prize at the 2017 Camac London Harp Competition.
A major award for harpists sponsored by the French harp makers Camac, the competition is open to harpists of conservatoire standard or beyond studying or resident in the UK or Ireland up to the age of 30.
In addition to their main award, the duo were also presented with the UK Harp Association Prize for the best performance of a work by a British composers. Lucy and Rebecca played Scorpions by Paul Patterson (pictured above with the students) and now have the opportunity to give a recital for the UKHA later this year.
