Jason Ho Yin Wong wins Rhythm-O-Phonia

Congratulations to undergraduate percussionist Jason Ho Yin Wong, winner of the 2022 Croatian International Percussion Competition, Rhythm-O-Phonia.

Hosted every three years at the University of Zagreb Academy of Music, the competition is open to percussionists of all ages and nationalities.

Highly competitive, it consists of three rounds, the final of which features a concerto performance with the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Pavle Zajcev. First Prize is 8000 euros, second 6000 and third 2000.

Alongside Jason’s success, we’d also like to congratulate fellow undergraduate Harriet Kwong, who made the semi-finals.
