Postgraduates win prizes at Dean and Chadlington Singing Competition
Congratulations to soprano Caroline Taylor, joint winner of the 2019 Dean and Chadlington Music Festival Singing Competition, and baritone Edward Robinson, awarded the Audience Prize.
Forming part of the Dean and Chadlington Music Festival, the vocal competition is open to singers between the ages of 18 and 28 and offers a £2000 first prize.
Postgraduates Caroline and Edward, who both graduate this year, have performed principal roles in recent RNCM Opera productions; most notably Caroline as Massenet’s Cinderella (above, right), and Edward as Pilgrim in Vaughan Williams’ Pilgrim’s Progress (above, left).
