RNCM Pianists at Birmingham International Piano Competition

Congratulations to RNCM pianists Maxim Kinasov and Yuxuan Zhao, first and third prize-winners of this year’s Birmingham International Piano Competition.

Held at Bradshaw Hall at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, the competition provides young pianists aged 18 to 28 the chance to further their career.

Maxim, who recently completed the RNCM International Artist Diploma, performed works by Bach, Brahms and Prokofiev to secure first place, while second year undergraduate Yuxuan took third place with music by Beethoven and Liszt.
