Roger Webster Awarded Professorship

RNCM Tutor in Cornet, Roger Webster, has been awarded the title of Professor.

As a trumpet and cornet player, Roger has performed with many of the UK’s top brass bands and orchestras, as well as with the world-renowned Alliance Brass Ensemble. He is also constantly conducting research in the area of psychotherapy, with special relevance to the needs of musicians, and has been particularly involved with the treatment of dystonia and musical stammers.

On hearing the news Roger said he was ‘delighted to be awarded the title of Professor at the RNCM’ and that he will ‘continue in my endeavours to promote the College as one of the world’s leading conservatoires.’
