Vershinina Wins International Piano Competition

Postgraduate pianist Yulia Vershinina has won the Senior Category of the 2016 Wales International Piano Competition.

Forming part of the Wales International Piano Festival held in Galeri, Caernarfon between 29 April and 2 May, the competition is divided into three categories – Senior, Junior and Accompanists – and is organised by the Canolfan Gerdd William Mathias Music Centre.

Yulia, who is studying for an MMus in Performance, was awarded the £2000 First Prize, donated by Roberts of Port Dinorwic. To read more, click here.
