Dr David Bainbridge is a musician, philosopher, and musicologist working in twentieth- and twenty-first-century continental philosophy and – very broadly – experimental music. He completed his doctoral research at the RNCM with the support of a North West Consortium Doctoral Training Partnership studentship, producing the thesis Grasping Nothing: A Study of Minimal Ontologies and the Sense of Music. He is now the College’s Research and Knowledge Exchange Officer.
