• Provides strategic leadership of the College’s Finance, IT, and Systems services
• Advises the Principal, Executive and Board on the financial performance and sustainability of the College
• Liaises with internal and external auditors, investment and legal advisors, the RNCM Board and its Committees, and with banks and Regulators to ensure that RNCM’s financial position is compliant and managed effectively and strategically, to achieve RNCM’s strategic aims

Deborah joined the RNCM in February 2024, and has had wide experience in the Higher Education sector, most recently as Chief Finance and Planning Officer at Sheffield Hallam University and previously in CFO/FD positions at the Universities of Lincoln, Northampton, and Cranfield School of Management.

She is currently co-chair of the Smaller HEPs group of the British Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG).
