As you may well know, the Chineke! Foundation was established in 2015 to provide career opportunities to young Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) classical musicians in the UK and Europe (its motto – ‘championing change and celebrating diversity in classical music’.) The Chineke! Orchestra is led by Tai Murray and you’ll see a lot of them this Summer at the BBC Proms and other big festivals.

A smaller Chineke! Ensemble has been put together for this special event, featuring double bassist Chi-chi Nwanoku OBE plus RNCM student Abel Selaocoe. However, we’re particularly pleased to welcome violinist Didier Osindero, who was recently awarded the ABRSM undergraduate scholar award to study at the RNCM – and starts here in September!

If you are under 18, pay just £5 for your Chineke! tickets
