Live Q&A with Max Richter

Tuesday 8 June 2021, 5.00pm

Max Richter stands as one of the most prodigious figures on the contemporary music scene. His work as a composer, pianist, producer and collaborator has led him to an impressive body of work encompassing solo albums, ballets, film and television scores and theatrical works. In this Q&A, Max will share his thoughts on the importance of versatility as a composer and performing artist.

‘Richter works in a tone that is sincere and serious; many of his pieces could be described as beautiful. It’s a style at odds with the fashionable inscrutability of postmodernism.’ – Los Angeles Times
