About
Manchester Camerata, with its Music Director Gábor Takács-Nagy, Principal Cellist, Hannah Roberts, and students from the RNCM breathe life into an evening of extraordinary works.
Dvořák wrote his Cello Concerto in 1894 during his final academic year in the US. It became one of his most personal, contemplative pieces filled with monumental expression.
Kodály and Bartók were lifelong friends who shared an interest in authentic folk music. Both share the homeland of Hungary, the same as Gábor Takács-Nagy.
Join Gábor, Hannah, Camerata, and RNCM students, as they bring these masterpieces to life with infectious energy and remarkable cohesion.
