RNCM Session Orchestra and Choir with Mo Pleasure
Saturday 29 February 7.00pm
Andy Stott director
Mo Pleasure is a supremely talented multi-instrumentalist and classically trained pianist from Connecticut who has had an exceptional career working with many of the world’s top artists including Michael Jackson, George Duke and Roberta Flack. He has worked as Musical Director for Ray Charles and Earth Wind & Fire, and continues in that function for Bette Midler.
Tonight’s programme will see Mo guide our students through his stellar career, as they cut loose on hits by the likes of Earth, Wind & Fire and Michael Jackson. However, the centrepiece of the show will see Mo performing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue in its original 1924 jazz band version.
